Falco’s Friends Walk with Community to prevent suicide

Falco’s Friends is a non-profit organization with a mission of connecting Emotional Support  Rescue Animals ( ESA) with individuals and families in need of emotional support. Through community connection and support, education, and  training for adopters and rescue animals,

Falco’s Friends works to bridge the gap connecting adoptable animals to families.

Fixed income families, aging and disabled take first priority as adopters through this program. In honor of our mission of community education and support, Falco’s Friends created a fundraising team to support the Birmingham Alabama chapter of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention- AFSP in this event.

Volunteers and ambassador animals were on site to support walkers and promote the message and walk for awareness. Support animals were on site were welcomed with smiles and hugs by those in attendance. See photos below of this powerful and moving event.

Thank you for Supporting the 2018  Out of the Darkness Alabama Walk!

Thanks to the entire Falco’s Friends and community who walked in the Out of the Darkness Alabama Walk to fight suicide. Walkers Promoted AFSP’s bold goal to reduce the suicide rate 20% by 2025.
